She was still sitting there, hours after the meeting had ended. It had been awful. The meeting, that is. Everyone pretended to have been his friend, saying they would miss a guy they never actually knew. But the worst offender, as usual, was Patrick. He went on and on about how they would get through this together, saying that Augustus Waters was a brilliant young man (even though he'd only met Augustus a small number of times). She would have rolled her eyes at Isaac (he understood), but, sadly, he couldn't see her. She settled for sighing as loudly as she dared, hoping Isaac would get the message.
